About the role

• Location: Brisbane, QLD (with travel to site as required)
• Type: Full‑time, starting as soon as possible
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ mining engineering experience
• Work rights: Valid Australian work permit is essential

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for both underground and open pit operations
• Prepare and present high‑level technical and operational reports to the Board
• Support mine planning, production optimisation and cost management
• Provide technical input on safety, risk and continuous improvement initiatives
• Liaise effectively with both site‑based teams and senior executives

Requirements

• Degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience across both underground and open pit mining
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including board‑level presentations
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential due to regular liaison with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to mine sites as required
• Valid Australian working rights (no sponsorship available for this role)
